Yet, never having extracted.avi files before I am nervous about doing so. I suppose that, for many people of my age and experience, the more you use something, the more you become used to it. My main concern is the downloading of these programs as I would not want their presence on my computer to cause problems (as quite a few do.) I would prefer a program which is independent of anything on my computer and will not interfere or interact with any other program (unless it is meant to do so.) If necessary I will send more information about my computer should you need it. I am particularly interested in the extraction of individual.avi files from the.rar folders, and then the joining of these files to form one whole.avi file.
When looking at various blogs concerning the subject, I find that most users are speaking a language I do not understand.
I know that there are many extraction programs that can be used but I am not confident enough to use them.
